I am a British watercolour artist based in London whose practice explores the relationship between landscape, memory and a desire to return to places that calm my nervous system. Inspired by the way I experience natural environments, I am drawn to places where I can escape and feel most at peace, places that leave a lasting emotional impression.

I studied Fine Art & History of Art, graduating in 2019. Alongside creating original collections, I paint bespoke landscape commissions for private clients, transforming meaningful places into personal watercolour paintings that celebrate memory, connection and a sense of place.

Practice

Working in layered watercolour, I reconstruct each composition through multiple individual colours and mark-making. Viewed closely, these fragments reveal their own rhythm and texture, yet from a distance they resolve into immersive landscapes that spark joy and a sense of calm. This approach reflects the way my memories of the natural world are formed, built from countless small details that collectively shape an experience of place.
Building a painting from many small moments allows me to immerse myself back into memories of a place. The process is soothing; as I paint, I rebuild old memories while creating new ones. Rather than documenting a landscape exactly as it appears, I hope my paintings invite viewers to slow down, reconnect with the smaller details the natural world offers, and rediscover the quiet significance of place.
